The Almenwelt Lofer ski area is just fantastic, with its well-groomed descents catering for all degrees of difficulty.

46 kilometres of piste and 10 modern lift systems as well as a 140m long "magic carpet" (conveyor belt) in a skiing paradise designed for children provide everything a skier needs. 

More than 200 km of well-groomed cross-country skiing trails for both classic and skater-style enthusiasts would leave any cross-country skier awestruck. From the simple, flat cross-country skiing trail in the valley to the high-altitude trail with its magnificent view right through to challenging trails with many ascents and descents, you will find everything you need here.

A hike over romantic, snow-covered fields, through white forests or on glistening alps makes you forget the stresses and strains of everyday life instantly, enveloping you in a feeling of total relaxation. 

If you find that the Almenwelt Lofer ski region is too small for you, the "Home of Lässig" Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area, which boasts approximately 270 kilometres of piste, is just around 30 minutes’ drive away. The Steinplatte ski area (12 km away) and the Hochkönig - Ski amadé region ski area (26 km away) as well as other ski areas are also close by.
